Widener students showcase their summer research at symposium

Widener's 10th annual Summer Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Symposium was held on Sept. 20. Fifty-three undergraduate student researchers, along with their faculty mentors, presented their projects in University Center. The research represented a variety of academic disciplines and showcased Widener's robust research opportunities.

Widener University announces 2019 Apogee Scholars

Widener University was pleased to welcome 14 students in the 2019 freshmen class who have enrolled at the university as Apogee Scholars. Apogee Scholars are recognized by the Oskin Leadership Institute at Widener for their high potential to lead positive change on campus and in their communities. The students were all recipients of Widener High School Leadership Awards, and each received a $20,000 scholarship to attend Widener.
