Widener University's School of Nursing inducted its newest student members into the university's Eta Beta chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau international honor society. Inductees are required to meet the organization's eligibility criteria for nursing scholarship, leadership, and service in order to be invited into the university's chapter.

Widener University Delaware Law School proudly recognized the exceptional achievements of its 230 law school graduates during its commencement ceremony on the campus lawn Friday, May 19. The graduates, amidst heartfelt applause, individually crossed the stage to receive their degrees and were personally congratulated by Widener University President Stacey Robertson. The ceremony featured an address by U.S. Magistrate Judge Scott W. Reid, of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Reid, a 2002 graduate of the law school, passionately reminded the graduates of their educational journey, their inherent identity, and the profound responsibilities they bear as future legal professionals.
