Widener students attend 91st Club Managers Association of America World Conference

Ten students in the Widener University School of Business Administration's Center for Hospitality Management traveled to San Francisco from March 2 - 6 for the 91st Club Managers Association of America World Conference. The students, accompanied by Associate Professor Joy Dickerson, joined club management professionals from the U.S. and around the world for the industry's largest annual gathering. The event drew approximately 300 students and over 2,000 club managers for five days of networking and education, as well as learning about the latest innovations and trends in the industry.

The trip largely focused on the role of indigenous women in the development of the region and the range of challenges faced by these women, who are oppressed both because of their sex and because of their ethnicity.
