Widener Law recognizes Thomas Russo of Howell for achievement

Widener University School of Law held its annual Student Awards Ceremony for the Harrisburg, Pa. campus on Tuesday, April 28. Awards were handed out in the administration building moot courtroom. The honorees included:

Thomas Russo of Howell, N.J., 7731.

He received a Distinguished Service Award, given to the graduate who has demonstrated, through participation in activities of the law school and strong academic achievement, exceptional promise for success in the practice of law and service to the community. He served as president of the Student Bar Association and will speak at commencement on May 17.

Russo plans to take the New Jersey bar exam and will work as an associate at the Law Office of Andrew A. Bestafka. He is the son of Stanley and Ann Russo of Howell.
