Widener Law recognizes Moses M. Bates of Philadelphia for achievement

Widener University School of Law held its annual Student Awards Ceremony for the Delaware campus on Wednesday, April 15. Awards were handed out in the school's Ruby R. Vale Moot Courtroom. The honorees included:

Moses M. Bates of Philadelphia, Pa., 19135.

He received the Charles J. Zencey Memorial Award, given to a graduating student who has demonstrated a commitment to protecting the environment, and who is likely to pursue a career that furthers environmental protection.

Bates will graduate May 16 and will take the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar exams. He is the son of David and Julie Bates of Sandy Spring, Md.
