Widener Law Commonwealth students recognized at Student Awards Ceremony

Widener Unversity Commonwealth Law School held its annual Student Awards Ceremony on Wedneday, April 27.

The students recognized for their achievements included:

Matthew Bleacher of Elizabethtown, Pa., 17022.

He received the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence, an award given to a student who has achieved the highest grade in a bankruptcy class or achieved other recognition in the bankruptcy area. Bleacher was also awarded the Michael J. Aiello Scholarship. The scholarship is given to an incoming or returning Commonwealth Law Student who is pursuing a degree in law and has an outstanding academic record..

Bleacher graduated in December of 2015, and passed the Pennsylvania bar exam in February. He is an associate at Nikolaus & Hohenadel, LLP. He is married to Ashley Bleacher and is the son of Scott and Kathy Bleacher of Lancaster, Pa.
