Tyler Palma Participating in China Exchange Program with Nine Widener University Peers

Tyler Palma, a Widener University sophomore Mechanical Engineering major of White Haven, Pa., is participating in a trip of a lifetime through a China Exchange Program between Widener and Chongqing Technology and Business University. Palma is among 10 students on the nearly month-long trip, which includes learning the Chinese language and taking courses at CTBU on a range of topics.

Palma is also sightseeing with stops in Beijing to tour the Great Wall and Xi'an--the excavation site of the terracotta army. Palma and his Widener peers will spend significant time with the CTBU students, learning about their life as students in China and getting to know those students who will travel to Widener in the fall to study.
