Samantha DeCapua of Barnegat named a Widener University Class of 2017 Valedictorian

Samantha DeCapua of Barnegat, NJ, graduated from Widener University on Saturday, May 20 at the top of her class. With a 4.0 grade point average, DeCapua is a valedictorian of the Class of 2017.

DeCapua, a Criminal Justice and Sociology major, particapted in a number of activities during her time at Widener, including: Army ROTC, Be Proud Foundation Intern, honors student, member of International Society of Military Ethics, Girl Scouts volunteer, and on the Widener Track & Field Team. She was also on the dean's list and President's every semester.
