Philip Wubbolt of Manheim, Pa. Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army

Philip Wubbolt of Manheim, Pa., was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army during the Dauntless Battalion ROTC Commissioning Ceremony at Widener University on May 15. Wubbolt will graduate from Widener on May 21 with a bachelor's degree in international relations.

Wubbolt will enter the Army as an Adjutant General Corps officer. He will attend the Adjutant General Corps Basic Officer Leader Course at Fort Jackson, S.C., followed by an assignment with the 17TH Field Artillary Brigade at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.

He had his rank pinned on by her parents, Martin and Mary Wubbolt.
