Madison Fink of Harrisburg Named Recipient of 2014 Engineering Laptop Scholarship

Freshmen that enrolled into the School of Engineering at Widener University this fall that were among the top of their high school class were recipients of laptops thanks to the school's 2014 Engineering Laptop Scholarships.

Madison Fink of Harrisburg, PA. was among this year's recipients.

Students who enrolled in one of Widener's engineering majors for fall 2014 and were going to be a full time student for at least four semester pursing a designated engineering curriculum were eligible for a laptop as long as they meant the requirements, which included: a combined math and critical reading SAT score of 1200 or higher/combined math and critical reading ACT score of 27 or higher, a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, or be ranked in the top-20 percent of their class.

An annual scholarship opportunity, this year 4over 20 students received laptops.
