Lloyd Flores of Pemberton Among ROTC Cadets Honored at Widener University Awards Ceremony

Lloyd Flores, a May 2016 graduate political science major at Widener University and a member of the university's ROTC Program, was recently honored at a special awards ceremony highlighting outstanding cadets.

Flores, a resident of Pemberton, N.J., received the Distinguished Military Graduate Award, presented to graduating cadets who rank in the top 20 percent on the National Order of Merit List; the Platinum Medal Athlete Award, presented in recognition of a cadet scoring 300 or more points on the Army Physical Fitness Test; and the Nathan R Raudenbush Memorial Star, presented for superior performance to a Widener senior cadet commissioning into a combat arms branch.
