Levi Ray of Cherry Hill Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant of the U.S. Army

Levi Ray of Cherry Hill, N.J., was commissioned on Jan. 5 as a second lieutenant of the U.S. Army through the ROTC program at Widener University. He majored in criminal justice at Widener University.

As a member of Widener's Dauntless Battalion, Ray served as the Battalion Assistant S-3 Officer. He will enter active duty as a Quartermaster Corps Officer with the Pennsylvania National Guard.

Ray had his rank pinned on him during the commissioning ceremony by his fiancee Jennifer McIntyre.
