Leah Berney of Shreveport has been elected to the Student Government Association at Widener University

Widener University has announced it's executive team for the Student Government Association. Leah Berney of Shreveport, LA has been elected Recording Secretary.

Berney will serve in this role for the reminder of 2014.

The Student Government Association allows students to gain leaderships experience, as it is the largest student-run advocacy and policy group on campus.

The Student Government Association acts as the main liaison between students and the university's administration.

Berney is majoring in history and pre-law.
