Gregory Didomenico Named Recipient of 2013 Engineering Laptop Scholarship

Freshmen that enrolled into the School of Engineering at Widener University this fall that were among the top of their high school class were recipients of laptops thanks to the school's 2013 Engineering Laptop Scholarships.

Gregory Didomenico of Drexel Hill, PA. was among this year's recipients.

Students who enrolled in one of Widener's engineering majors for fall 2013 and were going to be a full time student for at least four semester pursing a designated engineering curriculum were eligible for a laptop as long as they meant the requirements, which included: a combined math and critical reading SAT score of 1200 or higher/combined math and critical reading ACT score of 27 or higher, a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, or be ranked in the top-20 percent of their class.

An annual scholarship opportunity, this year 40 students received laptops.
