Distinguished Student Alla Mayzel of Warren Receives Award

The Widener University School of Law recently held awards ceremonies on both of its law campuses to honor students who accomplished outstanding achievements.

Alla Mayzel of Warren, N.J., (07059) was honored at the ceremony on the Harrisburg, Pa. campus on Tuesday, April 30.

She won the E. John Wherry Jr. Award, given to a graduating student who has demonstrated a commitment to both public service law practice and trial advocacy. She was also named the Trial Advocacy Honor Society Outstanding Executive Board Member, an honor given annually by the society for distinguished service and contributions made to the organization.

Mayzel graduated on Sunday, May 19. She plans to take the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar exams. She will work for the Mayzel Law Group.

Mayzel is the daughter of Pavel and Isabella Mayzel of Warren, N.J.
