David Press of Middletown is participating in Co-operative Education at Widener University

2014 Feb 21

David Press of Middletown, DE is participating in Co-operative Education at Widener University this semester.

It takes more than classroom learning to succeed in today's job market. It takes practical know-how, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. The co-operative education program provides all three of these components to students.

Press, a Junior Mechanical Engineering major, is spending the semester working at The Philadelphia Airport.

For over 35 years, Widener University's cooperative education and internship programs have helped students connect classroom learning with real-world experiences and gain the confidence, courage, competency, and connections they need for professional success. Widener has one of the only co-op programs where you can complete your undergraduate degree in four years.

Widener University is a metropolitan university that connects curricula to social issues through civic engagement.
