Daniel Ritterbeck of Philadelphia Receives Distinguished Student Honor

The Widener University School of Law recently held awards ceremonies on both of its law campuses to honor students who accomplished outstanding achievements.

The ceremony on the Wilmington, Del. campus was held Wednesday, April 10. Those honored included:

Daniel J. Ritterbeck of Philadelphia, Pa., 19087.

He received the Bruce M. and Elizabeth M. Monroe Endowed Scholarship, given to a student who has demonstrated achievement in copyrights, patent law, patent practice and unfair trade practices. He also received the Honey F. Golby Memorial Scholarship, in memory of Honey F. Golby, a member of the class of '76, based on scholastic excellence, as well as participation in school and community service.

Ritterbeck will graduate May 18 and he plans to take the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bar exams. He is the son of Dan and Ann Ritterbeck of Moscow, Pa.
