Christina Mariotti of Pottstown, PA, was inducted into Phi Eta Sigma during Honors Week at Widener University in March.

Phi Eta Sigma is a freshman honor society. Founded at the University of Illinois in 1923, it is the oldest and largest freshman honor society and now has more than three hundred and seventy-five chapters throughout the United States and more than 1,100,000 members.Any first-year student with a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale at the end of a full curricular period is eligible for membership.
