Christie Rosenzweig of Springfield Travels to China Through Widener University Cultural Exchange Program

2013 Oct 11

Widener University student Christie Rosenzweig of Springfield, Pa. recently returned from a study abroad excursion. Rosenzweig participated in Widener's 2013 China Exchange Program with Chongqing Technology and Business University (CTBU) in Chongqing, China.

Rosenzweig traveled to the cities of Beijing and Chengdu in addition to Chongqing. While in Chongqing, the Widener and CTBU students interacted regularly, giving the Widener students a true cultural immersion experience. They studied the Chinese culture and the country's history, sampled many dishes and learned Mandarin.

Widener established this exchange program with CTBU to encourage its students to gain global perspective.
