Beth Steinberg of Wilmington Receives Distinguished Student Honor

The Widener University School of Law recently held awards ceremonies on both of its law campuses to honor students who accomplished outstanding achievements.

The ceremony on the Wilmington, Del. campus was held Wednesday, April 10. Those honored included:

Beth Steinberg of Wilmington, Del., 19806.

She received the Zelda K. Herrmann Memorial Cup Award, given to a female graduate who has demonstrated excellence in scholarship, significant traits of leadership, and is deemed most likely to make a substantial contribution pro bono publico. She also received the Zelda K. Herrmann Memorial Scholarship, given to a female student who has demonstrated excellence in scholarship, significant traits of leadership and is likely to make a substantial pro bono contribution as a practicing attorney. In addition, she received an outstanding student service award, given annually to graduating students who have been actively involved in the Widener community and who have been of outstanding service to the school.

Steinberg will graduate May 18 and she plans to take the Pennsylvania bar exam. She is the daughter of Richard and Shari Steinberg of Penn Valley, Pa.
