Angelique Matusz of Barnegat, N.J. Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army

Angelique Matusz of Barnegat, N.J., was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army during the Dauntless Battalion ROTC Commissioning Ceremony at Widener University on May 15. Matusz will graduate from Widener on May 21 with a bachelor's degree in nursing and French.

Matusz will enter the Army as a nurse corps officer and will attend the Army Medical Department Basic Officer Leader Course at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas.

She had her rank pinned on by her parents, John and Danielle Matusz; her grandfather, Richard Lattuga; and her sister, Cadet Phylicia Matusz.
