Allen Thompson of Beachwood Receives Distinguished Student Honor

The Widener University School of Law recently held awards ceremonies on both of its law campuses to honor students who accomplished outstanding achievements.

The ceremony on the Wilmington, Del. campus was held Wednesday, April 10. Those honored included:

Allen Thompson of Beachwood, N.J., 08722.

He received the Harvey Alan Chernoff Memorial Scholarship, awarded to recognize the achievements of an advanced-standing student who excels in the area of constitutional law, and demonstrates an interest in pro-bono legal work. The award was established in 1983 to honor the memory of former student Harvey Chernoff.

Thompson will graduate May 18 and plans to take the bar exam in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is married to Amanda Thompson and is the son of Robert and Carla Thompson of Flemington, N.J.
